Primary Supply Teacher – Uckfield

We are looking for enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to provide flexible cover in schools across Uckfield and surrounding areas. Whether you are newly qualified or have years of experience, this role lets you work when it suits you while making a positive impact on young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons and adapt content to meet the needs of each class.
• Provide seamless cover for absent teachers, ensuring continuity of learning.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a safe, supportive environment.
• Assess and record student progress according to school policies.
• Collaborate with school staff to support the overall educational programme.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Current DBS check.
• Teaching experience in a primary school within the last five years.
• Strong commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

• Clear communication with pupils, staff, and parents.
