Primary Teacher – Daily Cover or Long-Term Teaching (Blackpool)

About the role

We are seeking qualified Primary Teachers to provide both daily ad‑hoc cover and longer‑term teaching assignments for a Catholic Multi‑Academy Trust serving schools across the Blackpool and Fylde Coast. The role offers flexibility to work as a supply teacher while gaining experience in a supportive Catholic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons and ensure accurate marking for daily cover assignments.
• Maintain a tidy classroom and reset the environment for the next day.
• For long‑term posts, plan and prepare lessons, assess pupil progress, and contribute to school activities such as parents’ evenings and staff meetings.
• Uphold the Trust’s Catholic ethos and support its spiritual mission.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Respectful and supportive attitude towards the Catholic ethos.
• Willingness to obtain the Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies (CCRS) if seeking permanent employment.
