Primary Teacher – Day‑to‑Day Supply (Part‑time)

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Primary Teacher for day‑to‑day supply work on a part‑time basis. The placement is in a mainstream primary school in the Tameside area of Greater Manchester, easily reachable by public transport and with free parking.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the National Curriculum to a full class of primary pupils.
- Work alongside teaching assistants to support classroom management.
- Prepare lesson plans, mark assessments and record progress.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and support pupils with additional needs.
Required profile
- Valid QTS or QTLS.
- Minimum two years of teaching experience.
- Experience teaching students with additional needs.
- Proven ability to manage classroom behaviour.
Required skills
- Curriculum planning and delivery.
- Assessment marking and feedback.
- Behaviour management techniques.
What we offer
- Daily rates of £150‑£175, dependent on experience.
- Free CDP and safeguarding training.
- Potential progression to a permanent contract.
