Primary Teacher – Early Career Positions (Full/Part/Temp)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to deliver primary education across schools in Wigan and Leigh. Whether you have just completed your PGCE or are looking to broaden your classroom experience, you can choose from long‑term placements or flexible day‑to‑day supply work.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess lessons for primary pupils in line with the national curriculum.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment.
• Contribute to school-wide initiatives and collaborate with senior staff.
• Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and attendance.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE or equivalent.
• Current Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Professional references supporting your teaching capability.
