Primary Teacher – Flexible Supply & Permanent Roles

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Primary Teachers to support a range of partner schools across Wigan and Leigh. The role offers flexible supply assignments, long‑term placements, and permanent positions covering EYFS through Key Stage 2.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons for EYFS, KS1 or KS2 classes.
• Provide PPA cover across different year groups as needed.
• Plan, mark and assess pupil work to ensure consistent progress.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively.
• Adapt quickly to new classrooms and build rapport with pupils.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers.
• Ability to walk into a new classroom and establish immediate rapport.
• Strong planning and assessment skills for long‑term assignments.
• Effective classroom management and positive behaviour strategies.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to undergo DBS and reference checks.
