Primary Teacher – Full Time

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic primary teacher to join Oasis Academy New Oak in Bristol. The role is full‑time and permanent, starting 1 September 2024 (earlier start possible). The successful candidate will build strong relationships with pupils and support them to achieve the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons for Key Stage 1/2 pupils.
• Develop and maintain inclusive, nurturing classroom environments.
• Collaborate with colleagues, instructional coaches and specialist resource bases for autism and deaf learners.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide targeted support to ensure achievement.
• Contribute to the school’s professional development initiatives and share best practice.

Required profile

• Passionate about teaching and motivated to inspire children.
• Committed to continuous professional development.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.
• High expectations for pupil behaviour and attainment.

Required skills

• Strong classroom management techniques.
• Effective lesson planning and assessment skills.
• Experience or willingness to work with pupils with special educational needs, including autism and deaf learners.
