About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Mid Sussex for the full 2026/27 academic year. The position starts in September 2026 and offers a full‑time, on‑site teaching role within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on your experience.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons across the appropriate key stage.
- Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive and well‑managed classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent communication and professional development activities.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Proven experience teaching in a UK primary school.
- Strong classroom management abilities.
- Passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
- Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
