Primary Teacher Intervention Roles – September Start

About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic primary teachers to deliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventions within secondary schools starting in September. The role supports pupils who are not yet ready for the secondary curriculum, helping them build essential reading, writing and maths foundations.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver small‑group sessions in English and maths for students below expected levels.
- Assess progress and adapt interventions to close attainment gaps.
- Collaborate with school staff to integrate support within the wider curriculum.
- Maintain records of student achievement and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
Required profile
- Qualified Primary Teacher status (QTS or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching English and mathematics at primary level.
- Ability to work with small groups and differentiate instruction.
- Passion for helping learners overcome barriers to education.
