About the role

We are a welcoming, community-focused primary school in Hailsham seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join our supportive team. The role involves delivering high-quality lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the overall life of the school.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the National Curriculum standards.
• Create an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress regularly.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in a primary setting (early-career teachers welcome).
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
• Enthusiasm, creativity and a passion for learning.
