Primary Teacher – Leeds (Full‑time Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join a highly successful semi‑rural school community in Leeds. You will inspire pupils in an idyllic setting that offers excellent resources and strong pupil engagement. This role is delivered through Randstad Education, a leading education recruitment agency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons that encourage curiosity and deep learning.
• Track and record pupil progress accurately to support individual growth.
• Create a supportive, respectful classroom environment with high expectations.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and specialist tutors to provide targeted learning.
• Maintain professional, warm relationships with parents and carers.
• Participate actively in school life, including community events and staff CPD.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience in a UK primary school.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and ability to differentiate instruction.
• Current Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Excellent communication, time‑management and classroom leadership abilities.
• Commitment to high academic and behavioural standards across all primary ages.
