Primary Teacher (Year 1, 3 days/week)

About the role

We are looking for a confident and passionate Primary Teacher to lead a Year 1 class on a three‑day‑a‑week basis. The role runs from September until Christmas and offers a supportive environment within a well‑regarded Chester primary school.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons for Year 1 pupils.
• Collaborate with a small teaching team to ensure consistent learning outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Confident, enthusiastic and able to inspire young learners.
• Right to work in the UK (passport or birth certificate).
• CV covering at least ten years of education or employment experience.
• Willingness to obtain a fully enhanced DBS (cost reimbursed).
