Primary Teacher – Year 2 (Full‑time, Fixed‑term)

About the role

Randstad Education is seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to join a welcoming Year 2 class in Hemel Hempstead. The position starts in September 2026 on a full‑time, fixed‑term basis with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and differentiate engaging lessons for Year 2 pupils.
• Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback.
• Collaborate with the Key Stage Leader, Subject Leaders and Senior Leadership Team.
• Maintain consistent PPA time each week to ensure effective preparation.
• Support pupils’ wellbeing and promote a safe, inclusive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching primary‑level, preferably Year 2.
• Commitment to a fixed‑term contract with flexibility for potential permanent placement.
• Passion for nurturing young minds and fostering resilience.
