Primary Teacher – Year 3 (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with primary schools across Brent to place a motivated Year 3 Teacher starting September 2026. The role can be taken on a full‑time or part‑time basis and involves delivering the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum to pupils transitioning from KS1.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in reading, writing, mathematics and foundation subjects.
• Track pupil progress using formative and summative assessment.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCO and other staff to support SEND and EAL learners.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour management and safeguarding.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Primary teaching experience, preferably in lower KS2 or upper KS1.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum and literacy/numeracy.
• Ability to differentiate for mixed‑ability, SEND and EAL classes.
• Experience using assessment data to inform planning.
• Positive approach to behaviour management and safeguarding.
