Primary Teacher – Year 4 (Lambeth)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Primary Teacher to lead a Year 4 class in a well‑respected, inclusive primary school in Lambeth. The position starts in September 2026, is full‑time and permanent, and forms part of a collaborative KS2 team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
• Support pupil progress through effective assessment, feedback and targeted intervention.
• Create a positive, well‑structured classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, presentation and academic achievement.
• Work closely with colleagues, support staff and parents to enhance student outcomes.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with recent UK primary teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
• Demonstrated classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Reflective, organised and enthusiastic about teaching.
• Enjoys collaborative teamwork.
