Primary Teacher – Year 6 (KS2) – Hackney

About the role
We are partnering with a warm, welcoming, and inclusive primary school in Hackney to recruit a dedicated Primary Teacher for a Year 6 class. The role starts in September and offers a full‑time placement with the potential to become permanent.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils with their learning in whole‑class, small‑group and one‑to‑one settings.
- Work closely with children who have Special Educational Needs, following individual support plans.
- Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons while maintaining a positive learning environment and effective behaviour management.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to aid development.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching KS2 and supporting SEN pupils.
- Warm, patient, and engaging approach.
- Strong communication, teamwork and safeguarding commitment.
