Primary Teaching Assistant – Flexible Part‑Time

About the role
Vida Education is seeking qualified Primary Teaching Assistants to provide day‑to‑day support in a variety of primary schools across North West England. The role is flexible, allowing you to work a few days a week or take on full‑time assignments, depending on your availability.
Key responsibilities
- Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation and delivery.
- Support individual pupils or small groups, especially those with additional needs.
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Undertake administrative tasks such as record‑keeping and resource organisation.
Required profile
- UK Right to Work status.
- TA qualification (minimum Level 2) or equivalent relevant experience.
- Current Enhanced DBS registered with the DBS Update Service, or willingness to obtain one (cost applies).
Required skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies.
- Ability to follow school policies and support teachers effectively.
