Primary Teaching Assistant – Flexible Part‑Time/Temporary

About the role

Vida Education is seeking qualified Primary Teaching Assistants to provide flexible, short‑term and long‑term cover in a range of primary schools across North West England. The role is ideal for candidates who want to work a few days a week or take on full‑time assignments on a temporary basis.

Key responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers with daily lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group assistance to pupils as required.
• Assist with preparation of teaching materials and resources.
• Cover for absent staff, ensuring continuity of learning.
• Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and attendance.

Required profile

• UK Right to Work status.
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
• Current Enhanced DBS registration (or willingness to obtain one through the agency).
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection standards.
