Primary Teaching Assistant – Full‑time, Long‑term (Leeds & Bradford)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to support a range of schools across West Yorkshire, primarily in Leeds and Bradford. This is a full‑time, long‑term placement that allows you to gain valuable classroom experience while working alongside qualified teachers.

Key responsibilities

• Support teachers in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classrooms.
• Assist with daily classroom activities and pupil supervision.
• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group help to children as needed.

Required profile

• Recent experience working with children in a school or nursery setting.
• A degree in Primary Education or a related field.
• Positive, patient and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
• References covering the last two years.
