About the role
A friendly primary school in Houghton Regis is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to start in September. You will support pupils in the classroom, deliver small‑group interventions and help children build confidence and achieve their potential.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher with daily lesson delivery and classroom management.
- Provide targeted small‑group support to reinforce learning objectives.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, offering feedback to teachers and parents.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
Required profile
- Experience working with children in a school, childcare or youth setting.
- Positive, patient and proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
