About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a school in Sutton Coldfield, with flexible, part‑time arrangements across the West Midlands.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils’ educational development and assist the teacher in managing the classroom.
- Create a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.
- Provide tailored assistance for SEND pupils.
- Monitor student progress and report to the designated teacher.
- De‑escalate behavioural conflicts and recognise good behaviour in line with school policies.
Required profile
- Enhanced DBS check (must be on the update service).
- Relevant qualifications or experience in a teaching support role.
- Willingness to undertake additional training as required.
