Primary Teaching Assistant – September Start

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a school in Warrington starting in September. The role is ideal for experienced assistants or professionals from related fields such as care, youth work, or sports coaching who want to support pupils’ academic and emotional development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, inclusive, curriculum‑focused activities alongside the class teacher.
• Promote a positive learning environment and support pupil behaviour management.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and carers to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
• Contribute to school life by assisting with events and extracurricular activities.
• Follow all school policies and safeguarding procedures.

Required profile

• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Experience in a UK primary school setting or recent relevant work with young people.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check if not already held.

Required skills

• Ability to deliver age‑appropriate activities aligned with the national curriculum.
