Primary Teaching Assistant (Supply) – Leeds

About the role

Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to provide flexible, supply cover across primary schools in Leeds. You will work directly in vibrant classroom environments, supporting teachers and learners on a day‑to‑day basis.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and maintaining classroom order.
• Provide 1:1 support for SEND pupils and run targeted small‑group literacy or numeracy sessions.
• Adapt quickly to different Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 settings.
• Help with classroom resources, record‑keeping, and student supervision.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a UK primary school setting.
• Valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Full Right to Work in the UK.
• Flexible attitude and confidence to step into varied classroom environments.
