Principal Business Analyst, Investment Technology

About the role

Invesco is recruiting a Principal Business Analyst for its Investment Technology function in Henley-on-Thames. The role focuses on the requirements and implementation of solutions and tooling for the Transfer Agency, Finance and Distribution operational business clients, working closely with Investment, Oversight and Client Reporting teams. It covers business analysis tasks and technical changes across several business areas, with a focus on data requirements and solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve business goals through business analysis tasks and delivery of innovative IT solutions.
• Collaborate with business partners to develop specific capabilities and enhancements.
• Build strong relationships with business users.
• Deliver technology solutions and enhancements supporting the Cloud-first strategy.
• Deliver change using iterative, Agile and MVP approaches.
• Create documentation from analysis to communicate with business and technology leaders.

Required profile

• Degree in science, technology, engineering and/or mathematics/statistics from an accredited university.
• Proven experience in asset management and/or Transfer Agency within the last 5 years.
• Track record of analysing business analysis tasks and implementing technical solutions to improve business performance.
• Good understanding of investment management.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task and meet tight deadlines, in a global, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Good technical understanding, including SQL and database knowledge.
• Understanding of Transfer Agency and investment data and technology platforms is an advantage.
• Experience with the Snowflake platform is an advantage.
• Experience with key industry software applications is an advantage.
