Principal C# .Net Developer

About the role

This is a career‑defining opportunity for a Principal Backend Developer to lead the engineering of a fast‑growing SaaS platform. Key responsibilities

• Architect, design and build scalable backend services using C# and .NET.
• Drive adoption of clean coding standards, design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
• Collaborate with product owners, testers and front‑end teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Integrate automation testing (Playwright) and CI/CD pipelines to ensure code quality.
• Lead technical discussions, set direction on tools, frameworks and architectural approaches.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, optimise performance and ensure system resilience.
• Review code and uphold engineering standards across the team.

Required profile

• Extensive experience developing backend systems with C# and .NET.
• Deep knowledge of cloud environments, preferably Azure.
• Proven leadership experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on performance optimisation.
• Passion for delivering high‑quality solutions in a SaaS context.
