Principal Civil Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to join our busy civils team in Bristol. Working closely with the Technical Director, you will lead the design and delivery of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects, including residential, commercial and education developments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead detailed design of highways, drainage and site infrastructure.
• Create and manage technical drawings using AutoCAD, Microdrainage and Civil/Site3D.
• Manage client relationships and ensure project specifications are met.
• Oversee the delivery of your own projects and those of your team.
• Mentor and support graduates, technicians and senior engineers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in detailed civil design of highways, drainage and infrastructure.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and client expectations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary environment.
