Principal Enterprise Integration Architect & Application Development

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Principal Enterprise Integration Architect & Application Development leader to define, govern, and evolve integration and application architecture across global source‑to‑pay technology platforms. This senior position will shape the client’s integration strategy, drive modern development practices, and ensure a scalable, secure, future‑ready ecosystem spanning SAP and non‑SAP environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define the enterprise integration and application architecture vision aligned with business and digital strategy.
• Establish standards, reference architectures, and governance frameworks for APIs, middleware, messaging, B2B/EDI and data integration.
• Lead the adoption of API‑led, event‑driven, micro‑services and cloud‑native patterns across hybrid, on‑premise and cloud ecosystems.
• Design scalable, secure, reusable integration frameworks for SAP, SaaS and third‑party systems.
• Promote engineering best practices such as DevSecOps, CI/CD, automation and cloud‑native development.
• Guide development teams to build resilient, high‑performance applications and reduce technical debt.
• Provide architectural leadership across multiple programmes, translating business capabilities into technical solutions and overseeing design reviews, solution assurance and quality governance.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in enterprise integration architecture and application development.
• Demonstrated ability to act as a principal technical authority and delivery leader.
• Strong track record of shaping integration strategy for complex source‑to‑pay or enterprise business processes.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
