About the role

Real Chemistry is seeking a Principal Medical Writer to co‑lead the creation of high‑quality medical content across multiple therapy areas. The role blends scientific expertise with strategic thinking, supporting clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.

Key responsibilities

Co‑lead development of medical content under senior direction across diverse therapy areas.
Provide strategic input to accounts and challenge briefs to elevate deliverables.
Implement AI tools into new projects under senior guidance.
Act as the day‑to‑day medical contact for clients.
Mentor and manage junior writers, ensuring accuracy, quality and timely delivery.
Delegate work within the account to meet billable targets and foster learning.

Required profile

Proactive communicator with experience managing writing teams.
Strong scientific background in medical or life‑science fields.
Ability to question client briefs and translate them into clear, strategic content.
Comfort working in high‑pressure environments while maintaining quality standards.
