Principal Podiatrist (Glasgow)

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Principal Podiatrist to lead a busy, award‑winning specialist foot‑care clinic in the heart of Glasgow. Working Tuesday to Saturday, you will provide advanced clinical care while guiding a talented podiatry team in a high‑profile private setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a full range of advanced podiatry treatments, including biomechanics, cryotherapy, laser nail therapy, low‑level laser therapy, taping, nail surgery, foot acupuncture, and foot manipulation/mobilisation.
• Act as the first point of escalation for complex clinical queries and patient issues.
• Mentor junior podiatrists and foot‑health practitioners, providing day‑to‑day guidance.
• Lead implementation of new health, safety, hygiene, and clinical protocols.
• Manage escalated patient complaints in line with clinic procedures.
• Oversee clinic operations such as staffing, stock ordering, stock control, and liaison with laboratories and referral networks.
• Deliver training sessions, identify development needs, and support continuous professional development.
• Maintain product knowledge and act as a brand ambassador at events.

Required profile

• HCPC registration with a podiatry degree, and membership of the College of Podiatry or SMAE registration.
• Proven experience as a Senior Podiatrist delivering advanced treatments.
• Minimum three years in private clinical practice with a strong focus on customer service.
