Principal Product Manager – Data Products

About the role
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy and roadmap for complex data products and services within a leading digital consultancy. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, translate business and technical requirements into clear product outcomes, and mentor a multidisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for data products and platforms.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape priorities and investment decisions.
- Translate business and technical requirements into actionable product outcomes.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across product, engineering, data and design in an Agile environment.
- Drive discovery, delivery and continuous improvement activities.
- Partner with Data Engineers, Architects and Analysts to deliver high‑value solutions.
- Mentor junior Product Managers and contribute to the broader product community.
- Support business development through client engagement and bid work.
Required profile
- Proven experience delivering complex data products, platforms or services.
- Strong background in product strategy, road‑mapping and prioritisation.
- Experience working alongside Data Engineering, Analytics and Architecture teams.
- Knowledge of data architecture, data modelling and governance principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and drive strategic decisions.
- Track record of leading multidisciplinary teams in Agile environments.
- Consultancy or highly regulated industry experience is desirable.
