Principal Recruitment Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Recruitment Consultant to lead our senior finance contract recruitment practice across Bristol, Bath and the wider South West region. This senior‑level position focuses on placing high‑value interim finance professionals such as Finance Directors, CFOs and Transformation leads.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver senior finance contract placements (£600+ per day) within the assigned geography.
• Build and maintain a network of 400+ senior finance contacts, fully mapped and coded.
• Identify candidate motivations, availability, rate expectations and preferences to match client needs.
• Collaborate on senior appointment strategy and market approach with internal teams.
• Ensure high data quality, LinkedIn Recruiter activity and disciplined market‑to‑market reporting.

Required profile

• Proven track record recruiting senior finance contractors (FD, FC, CFO, Transformation).
• Principal‑level credibility with strong commercial impact.
• Deep regional market knowledge of Bristol, Bath and surrounding areas.
• Collaborative mindset with ability to influence across teams.
• High standards for data integrity and candidate experience.
