Missions principales

• Design and analyze complex steel structures by applying Eurocodes, British Standards, and internal BAE Systems technical standards.
• Interpret and utilize data from advanced computer analytical techniques to optimize structural integrity.
• Provide expert technical support throughout the manufacturing, assembly, lifting, handling, and installation processes of submarine structures.
• Produce high-quality technical deliverables, including conceptual drawings, detailed plans, and comprehensive engineering documentation.
• Take full responsibility for the verification and formal approval of complex structural calculations.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory frameworks such as LOLER, Codes of Compliance, welding specifications, and geometric tolerances.

Profil recherché

• Extensive experience in structural engineering, specifically within heavy industry or maritime sectors.
• Proven expertise in applying Eurocodes and British Standards to large-scale steel structures.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex computational data.
• Demonstrated leadership capability in verifying and approving technical engineering works.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with manufacturing and installation teams.
