Print Finisher Apprenticeship

About the role

This is a full‑time Print Finisher apprenticeship based in Banbury. You will work alongside experienced craftspeople to develop a comprehensive understanding of modern print manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Complete a Level 3 Print Technician Apprenticeship (with potential to progress to Level 5).
• Learn every stage of the print production process, focusing on finishing techniques.
• Develop expertise in die cutting, foiling, embossing, laminating, folding and stitching.
• Gain exposure to press operations, paper preparation and the wider production workflow.
• Work a rotating double‑shift pattern (6 am‑2 pm and 2 pm‑10 pm) in a busy production environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the print industry (finishing, production, mailing, packaging, bindery or press support).
• Strong interest in print technology and a desire to expand technical knowledge.
• Reliable, motivated, eager to learn and able to work the specified shift pattern.
• Practical problem‑solving skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
• Ambition to become a highly skilled print professional.
