Print Finisher – Commercial Print Production

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Print Finisher to join our busy production team in Hertford. You will operate a range of commercial finishing equipment to deliver high‑quality printed materials that meet client specifications and production deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Operate guillotines safely and accurately.
• Complete PUR binding for books and brochures.
• Perform die‑cutting of printed products.
• Produce saddle‑stitched booklets.
• Operate folding, laminating, creasing, perforating and other finishing equipment.
• Conduct quality inspections on completed work.
• Pack and prepare finished jobs for dispatch.
• Carry out routine equipment maintenance and report faults.
• Collaborate with print and design teams to meet production deadlines.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in print finishing.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Reliable team player with a positive attitude.
• Desirable: commercial print industry experience, mechanical aptitude, flexibility for overtime, full clean driver’s licence, forklift licence or experience.
