Print Operator – Ink Technician – Manufacturing Operator

About the role

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Print Operator for a leading manufacturing company in March, Cambridgeshire. The role involves handling ink dispensing, colour management and supporting production trials within a fast‑moving printing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense ink according to daily production plans.
• Manage press returns and organise materials by colour clusters.
• Place weekly material orders and schedule deliveries using the internal management system.
• Maintain accurate stock records and prepare for month‑end stock counts.
• Replenish materials and ensure the ink area meets hygiene and quality standards.
• Support colour correction, troubleshoot issues and conduct production trials.
• Maintain colour measurement equipment and generate KPI reports.

Required profile

• Previous experience with ink, colour matching or print‑based machinery.
• Excellent colour vision and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments.
