About the role
We are seeking a Print Operator to join a leading manufacturing team in March, Cambridgeshire. The role involves managing ink supplies, operating press equipment and supporting colour quality throughout the production process.
Key responsibilities
- Dispense ink in line with daily production plans.
- Manage press returns and organise them by colour clusters.
- Place weekly material orders and schedule deliveries using the internal management system.
- Maintain accurate stock records and prepare for month‑end counts.
- Replenish materials and ensure the ink area meets hygiene and quality standards.
- Support colour correction, troubleshooting and production trials.
- Maintain colour measurement equipment and generate KPI reports.
Required profile
- Previous experience with ink handling, colour matching or print‑based machinery.
- Excellent colour vision and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments.
