Private Banker – High Net‑Worth Client Advisory

About the role

Join the UK International Private Banking team in London and act as the trusted financial adviser for high‑net‑worth individuals and families. You will design bespoke banking, lending and investment solutions that align with clients’ long‑term goals while safeguarding and growing their wealth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deep, proactive relationships with existing and prospective high‑net‑worth clients.
• Create tailored portfolios, structured products and wealth‑planning strategies across banking, credit and investment services.
• Identify new business opportunities and acquire new clients to meet sales and revenue targets.
• Manage operational, reputational, financial‑crime and credit risk for the client portfolio in line with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal specialists and leverage Barclays’ global capabilities to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in private banking or wealth management.
• RDR Level 4 qualification (including securities).
• Proven relationship‑management experience with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to understand and act on client strategy through regular proactive contact.
