Private Banker

About the role

Arbuthnot Latham is expanding its Bristol team and is looking for two Private Bankers to develop and manage relationships with High Net Worth (HNW) clients. The role combines relationship management, product advisory and risk oversight to deliver a tailored private banking service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of HNW clients, ensuring service excellence and meeting business targets.
• Develop and present business cases to match financial products with client needs.
• Drive client acquisition through personal and business networks.
• Oversee loan book performance and its impact on P&L and balance sheet.
• Take responsibility for risk and regulatory compliance, adhering to internal policies.
• Collaborate with Private Banking team, credit analysts, risk, onboarding and investment management functions.

Required profile

• Broad experience in financial services with solid knowledge of the private banking market.
• Proven private banking experience dealing with HNW individuals.
• Track record of delivering results and cross‑selling financial solutions.
• Strong relationship‑building and client‑centric approach.
• Effective risk management and regulatory compliance awareness.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
