Private Banking Executive

About the role

As a Private Banking Executive at Barclays in Leeds, you will support Relationship Managers in acquiring, onboarding, servicing and retaining high‑net‑worth clients. You will act as a primary point of contact for day‑to‑day operational matters and help deliver the business’s overall objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Managers with client acquisition, onboarding and retention activities.
• Provide day‑to‑day operational support for clients, handling complex requests related to banking, investments, credit and digital solutions.
• Prepare for client‑facing meetings, produce correspondence, documentation and annual reviews.
• Liaise with Operations and other support functions to ensure smooth delivery of services.
• Support the marketing of banking and investment products to existing and prospective clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing client relationships, including senior stakeholders, in a private banking or wealth management environment.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, operational procedures, risk management and regulatory frameworks (KYC/AML, governance).
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
• Adaptable, resilient and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
