Private Banking Lending Manager (Remote)

About the role

Join the Specialised Lending Team as a Private Banking Lending Manager and deliver bespoke lending solutions for high‑net‑worth clients. Working remotely from anywhere in England or Scotland, you will collaborate with Private Banking colleagues, Wealth Credit Risk teams and professional introducers to ensure exceptional outcomes while upholding strong risk and control standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage new lending enquiries, renewals and the full lending lifecycle for complex residential and specialist cases.
• Develop and grow the broker and introducer network, identifying new lending opportunities.
• Work closely with Credit Risk teams to assess complex scenarios, balancing customer outcomes with risk considerations.
• Improve processes, maintain robust controls and ensure high standards of documentation and governance.
• Occasionally travel to London to meet brokers and stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3+ years’ experience managing complex High Net Worth residential and specialist lending cases.
• Strong understanding of the UK residential property market and associated lending products.
• Proven ability to build and manage relationships with Private Banking colleagues, Credit Risk teams, brokers and introducers.
• Excellent judgement and decision‑making skills in assessing complex lending scenarios.
• Experience improving processes and maintaining high documentation standards.
