About the role

The Private Banking Manager will lead a portfolio of high‑net‑worth clients in Winchester, delivering bespoke banking, lending and wealth solutions while ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals, providing tailored financial advice.
• Drive mortgage lending, wealth and deposit growth across the client base.
• Prepare and present credit applications and proposals, ensuring clients understand the bank’s full range of services.
• Identify new business opportunities through networking and referrals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee seamless service delivery.
• Monitor financial risks within client portfolios and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate client records and produce detailed reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in private banking, wealth management or a related financial services field.
• Track record of managing portfolios of professionals, business owners and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Familiarity with local market dynamics and broker networks.
• Strong understanding of banking products, including mortgages and investments.
• Excellent relationship‑management and communication skills.

• In‑depth knowledge of lending, mortgage and investment products.
