About the role

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Assistant or Paralegal to join our Worthing office. This full‑time position offers a clear pathway to qualification as a private client solicitor, allowing you to develop expertise in wills, probate and lasting powers of attorney while supporting a busy senior solicitor.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the senior solicitor with a diverse caseload of private client matters.
• Prepare and review documents related to wills, probate and LPA applications.
• Provide client liaison, ensuring clear communication and high‑quality service.
• Maintain accurate case files and manage administrative tasks.
• Participate in on‑the‑job training and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience handling private client legal matters, especially wills, probate or LPA.
• Professional, friendly and highly organised approach.
• Strong commitment to pursuing qualification as a private client solicitor.
• Desire for long‑term growth within the firm.
