Private Client Associate – Private Wealth Team

About the role

We are seeking a Private Client Associate to join a top‑ranked private wealth practice within a leading law firm. The role offers hybrid working and a clear pathway to develop your career in high‑value private client work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of onshore private client matters, including wealth and succession planning.
• Advise clients on trusts, tax and related private‑wealth issues.
• Build long‑term relationships with clients and their families.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups on complex matters.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail under demanding deadlines.
• Contribute ideas and support the wider team’s development.

Required profile

• 4–5 years post‑qualification experience in onshore private client work, preferably from a top‑tier London or provincial firm.
• Strong appreciation of private client, trusts and succession planning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
• Proactive, calm under pressure and comfortable interacting with people at all levels.

• Salary £85,000‑£120,000 per year.
