Private Client Associate – Solicitor (London)

About the role

AJ Chambers are recruiting a highly motivated Private Client Associate to join their dynamic legal practice in the heart of London. The role focuses on delivering excellent client care and handling complex private client matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 2:1 degree, with a commendation at LPC level desirable.
• Highly numerate, IT literate and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Qualified solicitor with at least 3 years’ post‑qualification experience and significant experience in Private Client law.
• Strong technical knowledge of Private Client law and related areas, applied effectively to complex matters.
• Excellent client‑facing and interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proactive, commercial and solution‑focused approach, thinking creatively to develop innovative solutions.
• Commitment to professional development, including STEP qualification and continuing education.
• Ability to support internal procedures, file and financial management.
• Capability to generate practice income that exceeds total costs and expenses.
