Private Client Fee Earner

About the role

We are seeking a Private Client Fee Earner to join a forward‑thinking, agile firm in Colchester. The successful candidate will handle a full range of private client matters, from basic wills to complex probate work, and will have the opportunity to shape their own career path.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review wills, including complex estates.
• Prepare and manage Lasting Power of Attorney documents.
• Handle probate and estate administration matters.
• Provide advice to high‑net‑worth individuals on private client issues.
• Develop and maintain client relationships with a focus on high service standards.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with experience in private client work.
• Experience dealing with wills, LPA and probate matters.
• Supervisory experience is advantageous.
• STEP qualification is desirable; funding will be provided if needed.
