About the role

We are seeking a Private Client Lawyer to join a well‑established law firm in Essex on a full‑time or part‑time basis. The role offers a hybrid working model with up to two days a week working from home and on‑site support in a busy team handling a variety of private client matters.

Key responsibilities

Drafting wills and related estate planning documents.
Preparing lasting powers of attorney (LPA’s).
Managing probate matters and the administration of estates.
Administering trusts and providing ongoing client advice.
Collaborating with colleagues to deliver comprehensive private client services.

Required profile

Experience in private client work covering wills, LPA’s, probate and trust administration.
Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment.
Commitment to delivering high‑quality client service.

Required skills

What we offer

Competitive salary between £48,000 and £55,000 per year.
22 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
Early finish on Fridays.
Hybrid working arrangement (up to two days remote).
Parking available on site.
