Private Client Lawyer (Hybrid)

About the role

This is a full‑time opportunity for an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join a respected regional firm on a hybrid basis in Margate. You will work on a varied caseload of wills, probate and related matters while enjoying the lifestyle benefits of the Kent coast and flexible working arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse private client caseload, including wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection cases.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and external contacts.
• Promote the firm’s reputation and support marketing and training initiatives.
• Supervise junior and support staff, assisting with recruitment and training as needed.
• Utilise case management software to track and deliver services efficiently.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience in private client work (candidates with less experience may be considered).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven track record of building and sustaining client relationships.
• Commercial and financial awareness.
• Preferably based locally with an existing client following.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using case management software.
