Private Client Lawyer – up to £60,000 DOE

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join an award‑winning private client team in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The role offers genuine flexibility, including hybrid working and flexible start times, and provides a clear pathway to partnership or directorship for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of private client matters such as wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, court of protection, estate administration and contested estates.
• Develop specialised practice areas that align with personal interests and client needs.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with high‑net‑worth clients.
• Collaborate with senior private client specialists and contribute to the department’s continued success.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years post‑qualification experience (PQE) managing your own caseload.
• Strong client‑care skills and a proactive, ambitious approach to career development.
• Experience advising on wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, court of protection and estate administration; contested estates experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
