Private Client Offshore Solicitor

About the role

Join a leading offshore private client team recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers. The solicitor will advise international high‑net‑worth clients on English and Welsh law, UK taxation and cross‑border wealth matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare wills, trusts and estate‑planning documentation for offshore and UK‑based assets.
• Coordinate with advisers across multiple jurisdictions on complex structuring and relocation matters.
• Collaborate with private client and disputes teams on multi‑jurisdictional cases.
• Develop and maintain long‑term client relationships and support business‑development initiatives.

Required profile

• 3–5 years post‑qualification experience in private client law, preferably with offshore or cross‑border exposure.
• Proven track record advising high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals on wealth and succession planning.
• STEP qualification desirable, or willingness to work towards it.
• Strong technical expertise, excellent drafting ability and commercial focus.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of English and Welsh law and UK tax principles.
• Experience drafting wills, trusts and related estate‑planning documents.
• Ability to manage multi‑jurisdictional client engagements.
