Private Client & Probate Solicitor – Harrow

About the role

We are seeking a recently qualified solicitor to join our well‑established law firm in Harrow. The role focuses on private client and probate work, offering a supportive environment where you will develop your expertise while contributing to the firm’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice and drafting services for wills and inheritance tax (IHT) planning.
• Administer estates and manage trust arrangements.
• Handle Court of Protection matters on behalf of clients.
• Generate new business opportunities and nurture existing client relationships.
• Work under the supervision of an experienced solicitor to ensure high‑quality service.

Required profile

• Recently qualified solicitor with a strong interest in private client work.
• Ambitious, proactive and eager to develop a client base.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to supervision guidelines.
• Excellent communication and client‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Knowledge of wills and probate law.
• Understanding of inheritance tax (IHT) advice.
• Experience with estate administration and trust law.
• Familiarity with Court of Protection procedures.
