Private Client Senior Associate

About the role

Join a Tier 3 Legal 500 firm in Central London as a Private Client Senior Associate. You will work with high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals, families and entrepreneurs on complex private wealth matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied private‑wealth caseload covering wills, trusts, estate administration, succession and tax planning.
• Advise UK and international high‑net‑worth families on complex wealth structures and cross‑border issues.
• Draft wills, letters of wishes, powers of attorney, trusts, deeds of appointment and related documentation.
• Oversee trust formation and administration, and provide tax advice relevant to trusts and estates.
• Maintain client relationships as the primary point of contact.
• Supervise, mentor and delegate work to junior team members.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and external advisers, including foreign lawyers.
• Support business development and generate new opportunities.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 6+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in private wealth.
• Strong technical knowledge of trusts, estates, wills, probate and succession planning.
• Experience advising high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals and families.
• Solid understanding of UK taxation relevant to trusts and estates.
• Experience with international clients and cross‑border matters is advantageous.
• STEP qualification preferred.
